27th September is the feast day of St Vincent.
In our spacial assembly, We thought about how St Vincent was such a good friend to the poor. We looked at the Corporal Acts of Mercy, which St Vincent tried hard to show.
The Year 6 class were privileged to join with other schools in the Children’s Pilgrimage at St Chad’s Cathedral today. Thank you to the Catholic Partnership for organising the day.
Reception told us the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Great acting and dancing!
We were very honoured to have a visit from Bishop Fikeremariam from Eritrea. The children looked up Eritrea in their new atlases. Some of them showed the bishop their presentations about Pope Francis and gave him one to take home with him.
A fabulous day with medals galore! Thanks to all the parents who came along to support.
