A Visit From Eritrea

We were honoured to have a visit from Archbishop Mengesteab Tesfamariam from Eritrea today. The children were delighted to welcome Father Solomon’s special visitor. Thank you for your £1 donations. The money raised will help to train new priests in Eritrea. This will remind us how lucky we are to have Father Solomon here at St Vincent’s with us.

Royal Wedding Celebration

The children made royal family trees with some amazing portraits. We had special cake and dressed in red, white and blue to commemorate the wedding of Queen Elizabeth’s grandson, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.

Volcanoes Galore

Year 3 and 4 have been investigating volcanoes. They were challenged to show us what they know in a creative way. The results were amazing!

Show Me What You Know about…

Children from all year groups have been busy creating their beautiful Show Me What You Knows

May Procession

Today we held our annual May Procession in honour of Our Blessed Lady, Mary the mother of Jesus and Queen of Heaven. We processed from school up to church, walking behind the statue of Our Lady and then crowned her with a crown of flowers.

Year 5 Class Assembly

Thank you to Year 5 for a very thought-provoking assembly today. They gave us a powerful performance about life in Britain during World War II and how the lessons learned can be used in their own lives. They were inspiring and brought tears to many eyes. Thank you to all the parents who came along to support them.
