An amazing performance by Year 6 today. They gave it everything and kept in stitches all afternoon.

Year 6 treated us to an amazing performance of Move It – an extravaganza of song and dance. Great talent from a wonderful class. We are missing them already.
It felt like the whole world was represented at St Vincent’s today.
Thank to all the families who cooked such declicious food. We had three different coffee ceremonies from different parts of Africa. We loved seeing your presentations. The children learned some new dances and drumming patterns. What an amazing day!!
The children were challenged to creat a display about their family heritage. These are superb!
Thank you to Mrs Brookes for all her hard work with the choir in getting ready for the Young Voices concert at the LG Arena. …. and thanks to Miss Inniss for helping on the night. What amazing singing!

25 years of World Book Day!
We love reading!
The children used clues to detect who the masked readers were. Sir Mo Farah was reading ‘Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs’ by Ian Whybrow.
Well done to the children in Years 4,5 and 6 who showed us their muscial skills in their ukulele and guitar concert. Thank you so much to Miss Bashford from the music service who has worked so hard with them.
You can watch Year 6’s end of year play here.
What a talented bunch they are! We will miss them all.
Happy World Book Day everyone! I hope you are wearing your pyjamas and you have got your favourite books ready today for your reading challenge. Oh, and if you managed to find a potato, that will be really useful……more about that later.
First we are delighted to have author, Steve Smallman, with us today. He’s been working on your ideas for potato characters. Let’s see what he came up with……
and an extra story….
and some bunny doodles…
