Today each class chose a Spanish-speaking country to study. We sang songs, studied geography and language; tasted Spanish food and looked at artists, clothes, music and dance. Thank you to Ms Fernandez for helping us.
Well done to all the parents who made these beautiful decorations and jewelery for the ReachOut Winter Fair. What a talented bunch!
The children invited guests from The Pod to come and join in our carol singing On Monday. They served mince pies and presented personalised Christmas Cards which our visitors loved. The ukulele players accompanied the final songs and carols.
Years 1 to 6 went off to Redditch Palace Theatre to see Snow White on Friday. We had a fabulous time and joined the cast in an energetic dance at the end.
Beautiful singing and signing from Nursery and Reception children……
…..and then the mums and dads had a go!
Thank you to Year 1 and Year 2 for their beautiful Nativity Play today. You really sounded like God’s angels and you showed us that it’s not the outfit that matters but what inside our hearts.
Safwaan, Abigail, Kye and Gloria spent 3 weeks making this moon buggy for their theme work on Moon Man. It has a motor and can go backwards and forwards. It was really difficult and they had to keep adapting it until it worked.
Thank you year 4 for a beautiful assembly this morning teaching us all about how David persevered to overcome Goliath and how the inventor, Thomas Edison, struggled to overcome his difficulty with reading. They are great examples of what we can achieve when we don’t give up.
Look who turned up at lunchtime on Friday. It’s the Welsh National Opera Company!
They came out of nowhere and burst into song…….
We are very proud of our Year 5 Public Speaking Team who won the Caritas Christi Public Speaking Competition.
The team was chosen from our new Debate Mate club which was launched on Monday at Birmingham University.
