Jerusalema

The “Jerusalema” dance challenge started when an Angolan dance troupe recorded themselves dancing to a hit track by DJ Master KG and vocalist Nomcebo in February. Since then the song from South Africa  has gone around the world and been endorsed by presidents and priests has become the sound of the pandemic for millions across southern Africa.

See how St Vincent’s rose to the challenge here.

Draw Me a Story

We were delighted to welcome back Steve Smallman for a day of creating characters for our stories. The children watched their ideas come to life at the point of Steve’s pencil. Now they are bursting to tell their animal tales.

It’s A Baby!

Well done to Year 1 and 2 for their wonderful nativity play, ‘It’s A Baby.’ Amazing singing and acting as you told the story of the birth of our Lord Jesus.

We love K’nex!

Even wet playtimes can be fun when you can put your creative skills to good use. We had some lovely desgins today:

Symphony Hall

Congratulations to Mrs Brookes and her wonderful choir. They received 2 special commendations by the organisers of the Gala Concert last night. It was a real musical extravaganza which made us all want to get out those instruments and start playing!

Shakespeare Rocks

Year 6 had us rolling in our seats with their production of Shakespeare Rocks. Their acting, dancing and singing talents were unbelievably good. Some future stage stars there, I am certain. What a very special class they have been. We will miss them.
