Year 2 Trip to Dovedale
We saw ducks and slugs and fossils and dragonflies as we walked along the River Dove from Milldale to Dovedale. We found some strange money trees and even spotted the Gruffalo’s cave. It was a bit tricky crossing the river but we made it just in time for ice-cream.

Young Voices
Well done our Year 5 singers for a fantastic performance at the LG arena with the Young Voices choir. They sang and danced their socks off!
Quinta Hall September 2014
Year 6 had an amazing week with Freax at Qunita Hall near Oswestry. They really pushed themselves to the limit, conquering all their fears and supporting each other in a week of adventure.
Early Years at Dodford Children’s Farm
Tuesday – Our intrepid explorers from nursery and reception are finally asleep after a hard day at the farm. Let’s hope they have as much fun tomorrow.
Wednesday – They’re back! Looking tired, but full of stories. Thank you all our teachers who helped look after them at Dodford.
A Day at the Seaside
This year we spent the day at the Marine Lake at Weston-Super-Mare. We swam and paddled, dug holes and built sandcastles, played cricket and football and even practised writing in the sand. After lunch we went crabbing with the leftover chicken from our sandwiches. Some very clever mums caught some limpets to use as extra bait, which helped us to catch an enormous crab! We even buried a child or two. A great day out!
Outdoor Adventure Days
Year 2 walked along the river at Dovedale. The stepping stones were a bit tricky! Good job they had some bread left over for those hungry ducks.
Reception spent the day at a forest school.
