Year 6 treated us to an amazing performance of Move It – an extravaganza of song and dance. Great talent from a wonderful class. We are missing them already.
We walked behind the statue of Mary our heavenly mother as we journeyed from school to church, praying the Rosary. The children brought flowers to crown her as Queen of Heaven
It felt like the whole world was represented at St Vincent’s today.
Thank to all the families who cooked such declicious food. We had three different coffee ceremonies from different parts of Africa. We loved seeing your presentations. The children learned some new dances and drumming patterns. What an amazing day!!
The children were challenged to creat a display about their family heritage. These are superb!
A huge well done to our Year 4 and 5 girls’ football team who played in a gripping final tonight for the Birmingham Primary Schools 5-a-side title. They drew 0:0 after extra time and share the cup with Small Heath. Mr Davis and Mr Richards are SOOOOOO proud! (So are we all.)
Collecting their medals….
Thank you to Mrs Brookes for all her hard work with the choir in getting ready for the Young Voices concert at the LG Arena. …. and thanks to Miss Inniss for helping on the night. What amazing singing!

Wow! We had 30 families in school this afternoon all finding out more about living simply. We learned about reducing watse and making compost. We potted up lettuce and cabbage to take home and grow. The we emptied all the class fruit bins into our new compost heaps.
