Outdoor Adventure

All the classes have had an exciting time on their Outdoor Adventure Trips over the last 2 weeks.

Here are some of the highlights

Year 5 at Edgbaston Reservoir

Year 6 at Edgabaston Reservoir

Year 2 at Sandwell Valley

Year 3 at Sandwell Valley

Whitemoor Lakes

Year 6 faced their fears and showed some impressive team skills at Whitemoor Lakes last week. They braved zip wires and high ropes, mastered circus skills and archery, climbed towers and abseiled down. What a great start to the year!

Family Trip to the Seaside

We had a fabulous day at Weston-Super-Mare on Friday with our children and families. The sun shone and we simply had to get into that water! It was great to see everyone so relaxed and enjoying being together. A huge thank you to Mrs Caines and Mrs Puar for making it all happen!

Tissington Adventure

We had a wet and muddy day but brilliant fun on the Tissington Trail.  We fell off at least a million times but everyone helped and encouraged each other.

British Cycling

Here are the Year 5s starting their  6 week cycling course run by British Cycling, sponsored by HSBC Bank.  A wobbly at first but getting better! The challenge is to be confident riders in time for their trip to the Tissington Trail in the summer.

Caritas Schools Out and About

Our children had a fantastic time at Kingswood with their friends from the other Caritas schools. Huge thanks to Mrs Rivett from St Clare’s for organising it and the teachers who helped out. Thank you too, to the young leaders from St Paul’s and St John Wall who supported.

More news from Whitemoor Lakes

An amazing and exhausting  time had by all with great food and company. They needed a lot of courage, perseverance and team work. Huge thanks to Miss Khan, Mr Ledger and Mrs Stolban.

Outdoor Adventure at Whitemoor Lakes

Year 6 got off to a great start at their residential today – climbing, abseiling, zip wiring and clambering over an obstacle course. Come back tomorrow to see if they get any sleep tonight –  Miss Khan, Mr Ledger and Mrs Stolban are hopeful!

Seaside Trip to Weston

We had a glorious day on Friday with our families, building sandcastles, playing beach football, eating ice cream and fish&chips. The children (and a few parents)  spent hours in the sea and were beginning to look a bit wrinkled by home time.

Thank you all for your company – it was such a pleasure to share the day with you.
