Seaside Trip to Weston

We had a glorious day on Friday with our families, building sandcastles, playing beach football, eating ice cream and fish&chips. The children (and a few parents)  spent hours in the sea and were beginning to look a bit wrinkled by home time.

Thank you all for your company – it was such a pleasure to share the day with you.

Caritas Games and Catholic Sports

Well done to all our Key Stage 2 children for a fantastic team spirit at the Games at the Alexander Stadium. Your teachers were very proud of you.

And a  big thank you to St Paul’s and St John Wall schools for providing sports leaders to help run the day. Vocational work at its best. They helped to make a lot of smiles.

Brilliant effort from our relays teams with boys winning and girls coming second.

This was all good practice for the Catholic Sports against all the Birmingham Catholic Schools. It was much tougher but we had a great time and cheered for everybody!

Cycle Ride at Tissington

Year 5 had a brilliant day riding the Tissington Trail near Ashbourne. Not everyone fell off!

Kristian Thomas Olympian at St Vincent’s

We had an amazing morning doing fitness circuits with Kristian Thomas today.  He showed us how to keep fit doing lots of strength and stamina exercises. Miss Antonio was the champion at push-ups.

We saw Kristian’s Olympic Bronze medal and a fantastic demonstration of some of his gymnastics skills. Luckily, no one got ‘squished’ when he went for a dive roll over a record-breaking 7 people!

House Prize Ice Skating

Well done to Noah House for winning this term’s house prize. They had a a fantastic time skating and going on the Big Wheel.

Boccia Team News

Well done to our Boccia team who had a great day out playing against other Caritas School teams. They were great, even though they have not long learned how to play!
