St Vincent’s Respect Curriculum,
Here at St Vincent’s the Respect Curriculum is where we teach our children the National Curriculum expectations for Relationships and Health Education. We use the Ten:Ten scheme of work to deliver this curriculum inline with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Ten Ten scheme of work helps our children to grow in faith, love, understanding and compassion. They learn about : Understanding their bodies and minds; making good choices; keeping healthy; keeping safe (including online). The programme teaches children all they need to know about safeguarding and healthy relationships at an age appropriate level.
To do this, we use a wide range of high quality media and story inspired by our Catholic faith. The books our children read are a true reflection of the diversity of our beautiful school community.
