Action for Creation Day
Next Friday, 1st October, the pupil chaplains from Years 5 and 6 will be helping to run a whole school Day of Action for Creation.  The theme is Live Simply and we will be challenging everyone to reduce waste and use less energy. We’d like all the children to bring in a natural object (leaf, twig, acorn, to use in a thanksgiving prayer service. If you live close enough, try walking to school for the day and leave your cars at home.

Live Simply Lunch
Next Friday, as part of the Live Simply theme for the day, cook is planning a simpler dinner. There still be plenty of food, but for that day there will be just one choice – jacket potato. The children can choose from different toppings and salad. We will be thinking about people in the world who never have a choice of what to eat. You might like to continue the simple eating theme at home and eat plain food such as soup and bread.
