A Prayer for Advent
Lord, our God, we praise You for Your Son, Jesus Christ,
for He is Emmanuel, the Hope of all people.
He is the Wisdom that teaches and guides us.
He is the Saviour of us all.

 And Farewell….
Next week we will be saying goodbye to Miss Johnson who lots of you will know, from the support she has given to our children over the last 10 years. We are very grateful for her dedication and hard work at St Vincent’s and we wish her the very best for the future.

 KS1 Nativity Play
Well done to our wonderful Key Stage one classes for their wonderful performance of The Hoity Toity Angel. .

Carol Service
Please check below for the dates of our Christmas events this year. We hope you will be able to come and join us next Friday (the last day of term) for this. It will start at 2pm in church. Parents who come can take their children home directly from the church. The Carol Service is always a beautiful event so please come if you can.

Reconciliation
The Catholic children who have made this Sacrament will go to confession on Monday morning with Father Solomon.

Nursery and Reception Christmas Workshop
Parents are invited into their child’s classroom to take part in a creative Christmas workshop on Monday at 9.15am.

Nursery and Reception Carol Concert
This will be at 9.30am on Tuesday morning. Parents are invited to come and watch in the Nursery.

 House Point Prize
The winning house will be receiving their prize next Thursday.  The KS1 children will receive a Christmas gift and the KS2 children will be going skating at Millennium Point.  The winning house this term is Noah.  Well done.

Payment of Dinners, After School Club and Breakfast Club please make sure all payments are received by Tuesday please.

 Record of Achievement
Well done to Rehana in Y3, Jumana and  Fay in Y3 and Aaron in Y4 who have gained their Bronze Records of Achievement. Fantastic effort – keep up the good work.

Alton Castle Trip
It was good to see Year 5 back safe and sound from their trip to the castle this week. They had a brilliant time and were a credit to the school. Thank you too, to Miss Khaliq and Mrs Stolban  and the volunteers who gave up their time to go with them.

 Feeding the Hungry
Thank you for your generous donations of food, money and toiletries which we brought to SIFA Fireside Centre yesterday to be given out to those who are hungry.

 Winter Craft Fair
A fabulous effort by our parent Art and Craft group, selling their hand-made jewellery and decorations yesterday. Thank you to everyone who supported this.

School Mass
Next Wednesday Mass will be for the whole school. Parents are invited to join us in church at 9.15am.
