Hear the children singing My Hands Are Yours here
Oh my son,
you did nothing wrong
and you have to take the march to death,
this is so unjust.
But you were born for this, to save our sins.
I see the anguish in your eyes
but there is nothing that I can do.
But I will walk by your side, until we come to the end.
The agony, oh the agony I see the pain in your eyes.
Why do they kill the just man, who is the light of the world,
this shouldn’t happen to him.
My son, my precious child,
I don’t know the reasons why?
I can’t comprehend why you should die.

Lenten Family Workshop
A huge thank you for all your donations of food and especially to those parents who helped pack it all up yesterday. We filled 34 boxes and 17 bags, which the Fireside Centre were very happy to receive. The classes’ wellington boot collections raised a total of £216.10p.
Holy Week Services
I have been really moved by the children’s portrayal of the events of Holy Week. They have really helped us to understand the story of Jesus final week in Jerusalem before his Crucifixion and in particular, how he suffered and died for us. Their singing, acting and prayers were beautiful. Thank you to Mrs Brookes and Mrs Caffrey for helping the children to rehearse over the last half term.
Jacob House were the winners of the house points this term. They will receive their prize after Easter.
